OVERVIEW

This safari is designed to take you to discover the wonders of nature in Uganda’s tourist destinations like Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo Valley National Park is located in North Eastern part of Uganda in Kaabong district. The park has a true wildness feel and it is a great destination for the adventurous traveller.

 It the only national park where you can spot cheetahs, common ostriches and black backed jackal and it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal and 475 bird species. It is a birding paradise and this can be done on the fringes of the Narus and Namamukweng valley. It has excellent wild life viewing during the dry season. Animals found in this park include lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and very many others.

Kibale National park Is located in western part of Uganda in fort portal town. It has one of the loveliest and varied track of tropical forest in Uganda. The park is best known for its number and variety of primates which include Uganda’s largest population of chimpanzees and the localized red colobus and L’hoest monkey.  It is a home of a total 70 mammal species. Most over 375 bird species. During this safari you participate in variety of activities like bigodi walk, chimpanzee tracking.

Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 2: Game drive and Nature Walk.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Walk.

Day 5: Return Back to Kampala.

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer To Kidepo Valley National Park.

After breakfast, you will embark on your to Kidepo Valley National Park which is approximately 13hours driving.  With some stop over for photo shoot and stretching. Reaching at the lodge late in the evening for check in and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive And Nature Walk.

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in the park and you will be able to spot variety of animals like cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffaloes, black backed jackals, giraffes, warthogs and common ostriches after you will go back to the lodge for refreshment and lunch. In the evening you will go for a nature walk with Ik people. You will be given the opportunity to interact with IK.

Day 3: Transfer To Kibale National Parks

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to kibale national park which is approximately 6-7hours. You will enjoy the surrounding as you visit the crater lakes, and you will also visit the Tooro King’s Palace. Proceed to Kibale forest arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Kibale forest camp.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After breakfast, you will for briefing by the park ranger and set out for chimpanzee tracking with in kibale forest and this may take four to eight hours depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. you go with packed food and water. You will get a lot of information from the guide about the forest and different flora and fauna and you will be given an opportunity interact with our closed cousins. You will have a memorable moment with the chimpanzee and after return back to lodge for lunch and refreshment. In the evening you will go for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp in search for birds and other animals if nature allows.

Day 5: Return Back To Kampala

Have a morning delicious breakfast and then head back to Kampala as you take the flash back for this memorable safari.
