OVERVIEW

Murchison Falls National Park is located in north western part of Uganda in Masindi district. It is the largest and oldest conservation area hosting 76 species of mammals and 451bird species. It offers breath taking sceneries of the palm dotted hills, swamps, forest, and East Africa’s dramatic waterfalls and diversity of wildlife on land. And it is the best place for game drive. Animals within the park include lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and many others.

Day 1: Ziwa Sanctuary and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Ziwa Sanctuary and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Ziwa Sanctuary for Rhino experience. It is approximately 3-4hours driving. You will stand a chance to spot different rhinos before you embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive which is approximately 2-3 hours. You will have an opportunity to observe animals like Elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, water buck and very many animals if nature allows. Return to the lodge for refreshment, have lunch and in the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Albert Nile which will give an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty falls. You will have an opportunity to observe crocodiles, hippos and birds like king fisher cormorants, bee carter and shoe bills.

Day 3: Return Back to Kampala.

After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Kampala for your flight.
