OVERVIEW

Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western part of Uganda in Kasese district. It was initially known as Kazinga National Park. It is famous for its volcanic features including the volcanic cones and deep crater lakes such as Lake Katwe were salt is extracted. It is popular for its savannah reserve and has widest variety of wildlife. The variety of habitant includes grass lands, savannah, forest, wetland and lakes. Animals in this park include Warthogs, Uganda Kobs, Water Buck, Tree Climbing Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards among others.

Day 1: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is approximately 6-7 hours driving with en-route lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center.  You will visit the exploration crater lakes. You will go for a game drive in the northern crater areas where there is a lot of dark holes, you will stand a chance to observe elephants, water buck, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, leopards if nature allows. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Game Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in kisenyi area, here you will stand a chance to observe a lot of antelope species, like water bucks, Uganda kobs and other animals like tree climbing lions, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, elephants. This game drive will take 2-3 hours. Return to lodge for refreshment and lunch and after you will go for the afternoon boat cruise at kazinga channel famous for its highest hippopotamus. You will also spot buffaloes and elephants. Return the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi Game Lodge.

Day 3: Return Back To Kampala.

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in mbarara town.
